Twin Flame or Toxic Relationship? with Cindy Chau

In this episode Natasha Edwina and Cindy Chau (both licensed marriage and family therapists) discuss the twin flame relationship.

Is it real? Is it spiritual woo?

What’s the difference between a twin flame relationship and a toxic relationship? Is there only one twin flame or are there shades of twin flames?

Is one bound to their twin forever despite unwanted dynamics as if they were in a domestic violence relationship? If it is toxic, and one leaves, are they rejecting themselves (since a twin is said to be their own soul split)?

What if one twin is in their trauma, does the other twin need to experience it with them? Can one escape a twin flame relationship gone bad?

Are twin flames just a metaphor for codependent relationships? Or are they an extreme example of divinely sacred timeless relationships? What’s the difference?

Cindy and Natasha share their personal experiences with intense spiritual relationships and the twin flame journey.

Cindy talks about the dynamics that she navigated and wounds she healed through her twin flame journey with themes of power and control, the impact of her partner trying to heal mother wounds through polyamorous neotantra circles and multiple partners without the foundations of emotional intimacy, security, safety, or the integrity of the original cultural heritage of the practice, and other energetic remnants of predatory colonialism particularly between White man and Asian woman.

Tune in to see how she reclaimed her sovereignty and stayed in integrity with herself, while continuing to love her twin, and evolving her own inner union of divine feminine and divine masculine to achieve the spiritual growth that has left her happy and healthy!

This was a fascinating episode!
