Some of the common misconceptions about using the term “the divine feminine” is that it is about superiority over the masculine, that it is exclusive to only a female body, or that it is an adherence to outdated gender roles/gender binary that does not acknowledge non-binary experiences.
Please don’t misunderstand. In the Dao, the ancient philosophy that is at the root of things like Traditional Chinese Medicine, Tantra, and Marriage and Family Therapy and other systems theories (even cybernetics!) there is an equal and opposite complementary system that powers all things, human and machine. This has little to do with gender and everything to do with energy.
In our society, we think of the (masculine) rock as being much stronger than the (feminine) water in the river. But after many years, that soft flowing water transforms the rock to a mere piece of sand.
Understanding and honoring the power and strength of the feminine energy is something we are all awakening to more and more now.
There are many ways the divine feminine is rising to reclaim her spot on the throne and rebalance the leadership of these lands we call Earth.
